Help us keep the dream of our very special founder David Snowdon alive by supporting his dream of having more local mental support services right here in Gloucester. Growing up Dave said he was always picked on because of his sexuality, something Dave was passionate about was helping our entire community, particularly the mental health of our youth.
Sadly, we lost our Queen of Gloucester, or as he would say 'the Queen of everything!!' suddenly at the beginning of 2026. The loss of Dave still resonates with so many people who knew him and loved him....you couldn't help but feel much lighter and brighter when you were around Dave.
We often have visitors to our beautiful Gloucester and it's surrounds who remember Dave, one lady in particular put it perfectly 'I have only had the privilege of knowing David from Woollies. In the short time I spent going through his checkout I came away feeling I had known Dave forever, he had the most beautiful smile and made me feel like family....in a few minutes at his checkout' that was 'our Dave'.
So let's keep Dave's dream alive by supporting the mental health of our lgbtqi+ youth and community alongside our businesses, families and friends.
Every step we take is one step closer to having mental health support available close to home
everyone in our diverse and wonderful part of the world.
