Spring has certainly sprung at Ipswich Toastmasters. The range of topics covered in a couple of hours was astounding and almost "ineffable".

Here are just a few references to what was discussed: mini ponies; sticks, worms and maggots; brilliant purple bougainvillea; the stinky Durian; international campaign tactics; Iranian nomad spring cleaning; seasons in Sweden; the spectre and spectrum of TV today.

Practising prepared speeches and speaking without notice is a great way to improve your confidence when you have to speak at work, in the community or socially. We learn by doing and having fun. It is FREE to find out more.

A very warm welcome to brand new member Jessie who was inducted at our last meeting. We are so excited to have you join the group and are looking forward to hearing your stories.

Book Week was the inspiration for a wonderful program of fun speaking challenges. Try using off-beat Phillipino slang word - Jeprok - in your everyday discussions! How about stories about real-life mentoring and poems about hot torrid love. Where else can you get that variety?

Learning how to speak with confidence in front of others just takes practice. Improve your speaking skills . Join us on 1st and 3rd Wed each month.
