A group from Luke's Place Ipswich explored Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. There was so much to see and do. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed travelling to and visiting Dreamworld.

Luke's Place Ipswich is offering a new cooking group on Fridays where everyone can cook together, learn new recipes and share a meal.

The activity will run between 3.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. with an out-of-pocket cost of $10 per person.

A group from Luke's Place, Lockyer recently had a fantastic morning at Bunnings, Plainland.

Everyone enjoyed getting creative. The group had some lunch before getting stuck into the afternoon activity ā€“ creating beautiful watercolor prints to take home.

It was such a bright, happy and colourful day, with plenty of smiles and laughs.
Everyone did an incredible job. šŸ˜

ALARA's Seniors Group had an outing to Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens for a bike ride with Cycle Without Age No Barrier. It was a very social bus ride to the Botanical Gardens .

The ride was approximately 5 km and took about 25 minutes. It started from the Japanese Gardens and the Group not only enjoyed the ride around the gardens but also viewing the different sculptures.

After the ride we drove the ring road at the Gardens to the top for a view before heading to the cafe for lunch. Everyone said they had a very enjoyable day riding bikes and the social day out. Everyone is looking forward to the next ride. šŸ˜

Last Friday evening Lukeā€™s Place hosted ā€œA night to rememberā€ exhibition at Dingley Dell Gallery

The night was a huge success, after months of creativity, hard work and plenty of enthusiasm, it was fantastic to see the clients work on display and even more exciting to see so many pieces sold on the night.

For our artists having their artwork purchased is about so much more than selling a painting. Itā€™s an opportunity to share their creativity with the community, have their talents recognized and experience the wonderful feeling of knowing someone has chosen their artwork to take home and enjoy.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff who have supported, encouraged and shared their skills with our clients. Your passion and encouragement have helped make the exhibition possible.

And of course, a massive congratulations to all of our artists. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Thank you to everyone who came along, admired the artwork, celebrated with us and supported our talented artists.

The ALARA Seniors Group attended The Michael BublƩ show at the Broncos Club, Redhill. The Group had a lovely morning at the show and they also enjoyed the drive to and from as well. Lots of chatting and plenty of laughter. After the show, the Group stayed for lunch, and everyone said they are looking forward to the next outing.
