The ALARA Seniors Group recently enjoyed The Hollies Tribute Show at the Broncos Club.

The Group enjoyed reminiscing about the music and and enjoyed morning tea together. As always, plenty of laughs and chats throughout the day.

The Group all said they were looking forward to many more outings together! 😍

The ALARA Seniors Group enjoyed a day at the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.

The Group went to Queens Park to view the beautiful gardens and then caught the shuttle bus to Laurel Bank Park.

About 11 thousand bulbs had been planted at Laurel Bank Park for the spring display and this year's pet theme for floral art and garden beds.

The Group had a great look around at both parks followed by lunch at Picnic Point restaurant which has a stunning view of the Lockyer Valley and surrounds.

Everyone enjoyed the day out in Toowoomba as well as the drive up and back Plenty of chats and laughs. 🌺🌸🌷

Luke's Place, Lockyer's Friday Craft Group had a fantastic outing to the Laidley Spring Fair, where everyone enjoyed getting out and about, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying all the fun the fair had to offer! 🌼☀️

After their outing, the group headed back and got creative, making their very own solar ladybugs 🐞☀️ to take home.

A wonderful day filled with community, creativity, laughter and a little sunshine!

The Program may include:
- Social Activities and Friendship Building
- Life Skills and Independence
- Creative Activities, Games and Sport
- Cooking, Craft and Community Outings
- School Holiday Activities

On Thursday 10 September the ALARA Seniors Group visited Stadbroke Island for the day.

The group travelled over to Straddie via the passenger ferry and it was extremely rough going over and back. Once on the Island the Group enjoyed lunch at The little Ship Club at Dunwich. The Group had lots of chatter and laughter on the ferry and over lunch.

Some of the regular Group members welcomed a couple of new members attending their first outing. A fantastic day just to relax and enjoy each other's company. 😍

ALARA's Seniors Group enjoyed another day out together recently. This time they visited Soul Nook at Marburg for morning tea followed by lunch at The Walloon Hotel.

There's never a shortage of laughs or chatter while travelling on the bus and over meals. Everyone raved about the food and valued time together to socialise.

Luke's Place Lockyer's activity group had a terrific day taking part in our Father’s Day/Special Person Day Hunt! 💙

A huge thank you to Porters Plainland and Bunnings Plainland for your generous donations! Special thanks also to Lucy, Bunnings Activity Organiser for arranging such amazing activities, supporting our group, and always going above and beyond to support our clients and the wider community. ❤️

All of our clients enjoyed taking on the challenge at the op shop, finding a bargain and choosing something special for that very special person. 🛍️🎁

What a fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, challenges and community spirit! 🌟
