Whilst I love having visitors and sharing books, unfortunately I have had to rehome all these treasures that were left this morning as they are exposed to the weather.

I’m looking to add a Perspex door or the like to the community pantry section (the white open section) when I get a chance.

If you come and visit want to leave books to share, please only do so if there is protected room to do so.

It’s a few days early, but I’m getting my festive sprit on.

I’ve added some decorations, as much as I can at the moment with this wild weather, swapped out books and changed the prize & suprise bits & bobs box for something a bit more Christmassy.

Someone has decided that my bush fairy and her little street library, would be better at their house more than under my orange roof ☹️

Her little house is empty and I’m very lonely … I hope that she comes back 🧡

I’m so sad to advise that, due to vandalism, I won’t be able to stamp the lovely books that pass through my doors anymore.

My little stamp was completely stripped bare 😭even the rubber image pad was ripped off. I kept it under the orange roof for everyone to use, but sadly, that was a mistake.

Children’s Book Week is CBCA key highlight national event of the year. This year’s celebration will run from Saturday 16 to Saturday 23 August.

The 2025 theme is Book an Adventure! And what better books than these classics to kick off our book week features.
