It's normal for babies to be a little upset during transitions (in and out of the carrier).

How crazy that she fits the panel height already! I needed to pull it up slightly (to reach that neck to lower earlobe region) but she feel asleep quite quickly after this and I adjusted it as I went to hang the washing.

As tula don't unbuckle at the shoulder straps, the tshirt method where the straps are loose and the back clip already done up is the easier option. You can also have them slightly loose, put the straps on and then clip the back clip behind your head before the final tightening up... whichever floats your boat.

Let's do a reintro post! Hi all 👋 I'm Mickayla (Mickayla ✨️🌿 ) a naturopath, postpartum doula and certified babywearing educator who just loves carriers 😍 Mum to 3yo and a new bubba 🥰

I got into a bit of a side quest in my first postpartum, learning about carriers, collecting them and then doing some more structured learning to be a babywearing educator! (Both with ABA and CBWS).
I have amassed a big carrier collection in the dreams of setting up a carrier library for mums to try on carriers, rent them out, find their style, and donate back to when their carrier time is finished. This is great low cost option for those that can't access a carrier or only need one for a short period of time. 90% of our carriers are second hand as I really want to encourage reusability through this library. Our community has been so wonderful with this already with our monthly meets booking out every time, rentals going through and quite a few donations too!

If you can't make our meets or want to learn before bub is here, I highly encourage a 1:1 consult at home to get super familiar with the how and why before choosing your carrier or learn the one you have 😊
We go through safety information, carrier styles, how to get it on and off, and some of the finer points that can help you choose the right one for you. (It's much more affordable than cycling through 3+ carriers because they don't feel right). If you already have a carrier and a baby 😉 you can learn more about hip carries, feeding in a carrier, back carry and how babywearing grows with your baby...

Babywearing has made my motherhood infinitely easier and less stressful (did you know it can reduce crying by half or more?), and I want to pass those skills onto my community!

Getting girlie wrapped after a feed to sleep, not the easiest way to wrap but slowly we get to the same place 🌼

I think most of my wraps are going to look like sleepy transfers...

Just base size didymos with my 2mo size newborn 🤣

Try on with both and ( )

Super similar adjustability, just different methods.
Slightly different weight range.
Very similar fits.
Different fabric weaves
Both fitting this newborn demo doll just fine and feel pretty comfy to me!

We're gonna have to split this in 2 but I hope this covers any questions regarding differences between these two really adjustable carriers 🥰
