Thanksgiving!!

It was great to join our community this afternoon in giving thanks to God for so many blessings around us. A thanksgiving service has been held annually by the Rosewood Lutheran Parish for the past few years with attendees encouraged to bring non-perishable goods. Donations are divided between the Rosewood Community Centre and The Salvation Army.
All good gifts around us are sent from Heaven above!!

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who contributed to this year’s mid year mission trip. It’s been a great time of blessing others and enjoying fellowship together.
Thank you to Major Bob and Estelle Strong who do an incredible amount of organising throughout the year to make these trips happen. Thank you to our leaders Kevin Cause our band master, the band sounded amazing; Christine Creamer for your hard work in putting together a routine for timbrels; Trevor Williams for leading our singers; and for everyone who contributed to making our concerts a great experience. We are blessed with a group of very talented people.

Our final destination for this years mission trip was to Lockyer Valley. We had a great time last night presenting a variety concert. Today we had the privilege of worshipping with our friends at Lockyer Valley Corps. Thanks BJ and Rick and to the folk at Lockyer for a warm welcome and incredible hospitality.

It’s been a great week of ministry and sharing together and blessing communities.

Here’s some pics of our concert on Wednesday night at Kingsthorpe Church of Christ. It’s always great to catch up with friends there. Thanks Colin and Bec and to your wonderful church family there.

We have yet another awesome Timbrel ensemble this year. Some of us haven't played in a LONG time. But after a short practice, thanks to Christine Creamer, we were able to produce something has come along quite well. We've had fun presenting the timbrels through the ages.

This evening we joined with the community of Wondai and had a great time together. Lots of fun and laughter. Our rural towns have so much spirit and we are so blessed to be able minister to them. It was great to catch up with old friends and made new ones.
