Inveresk Precinct parkrun

Inveresk Precinct parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 9am at Inveresk Precinct, Launceston. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

parkrun (http://www.parkrun.com/) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the United Kingdom in 2004 to provide a free, weekly, timed 5km running event to every community that wants one. Events are organised by local volunteers with support from parkrun.

A foggy start to Parkrun #666, didn’t stop 382 people from participating. We had an amazing 72 first time visitors to Inveresk, including 12 people who completed their first ever Parkrun. We hope to see you back again.

Congratulations to the 30 participants who achieved a PB. A huge shout out to the following people who celebrated a milestone: Clare (50), Eleanor (25) and Luke (25).

A big thank you to all our volunteers who make our Parkrun possible.
