💬 **What Does Progress Really Look Like?**

Sometimes it’s the small changes that say the most.

One student who previously spent every bus trip on his phone spent the entire journey this year chatting - sharing his achievements, sporting involvement and plans for the future.

It’s a powerful reminder that growth doesn’t always show up in data points. Sometimes, it’s seen in confidence, connection and conversation. 💛
So how do we capture and measure that kind of progress?

Who doesn't love a hot chicken sandwich?!??🍗🥪😋

Such a pleasure to visit the hospitality students at Cammeraygal High School completing their sandwich assessment with pesto chick and club sandwiches a plenty!!

With students needing to demonstrate their skills in the workplace, the next step is an industry placement.

So if you work at or own a cafe/restaurant or catering company who would be keen to host a student for a week, reach out ok us and get on board!

This highly anticipated event will once again bring together a diverse range of exhibitors, giving students the opportunity to explore future pathways, connect with industries, and discover what’s possible beyond school.

An unforgettable Easter at the Sydney Royal Easter Show 🎡🐰

Students gained hands-on experience across events, entertainment and business services, stepping into real-world roles and building skills, confidence and industry insight.

Most importantly, they had a fantastic time as part of the Show family 💛

Amazing things happen with time, love and care.

In 2017, we were hit with a ridiculous storm which took out all our electrical wiring and killed a number of large trees.

Through this destruction, our then Links to Learning program participants collectively transformed the space the 3 tall trees occupied into an amazing retained landscaped garden.

3 citrus trees were planted to mark each group and whilst the 🍋lemon and 🍊cumquat trees jumped into action, our 🍋‍🟩lime tree took its time to settled and grow.

Today we proudly harvested 3 limes from the tree.. taking time to reflect on the amazing work of all the students involved and the continued need for government and education to recognise that this type of investment sometimes takes time to show results - but is worth the faith and investment.

Students at German International School Sydney (GISS) kicked off Term 1 with energy, connection and collaboration 🙌

Through engaging workshops, they built teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, while learning how to manage conflict and work towards shared goals 🤝

A positive start to the year, with students feeling confident, connected and ready to learn 💫

Programs that support young people early can make a lasting difference 🌱 but they’re not always easy to measure. 📏

At the same time, demand continues to grow 📈
This year alone, we’ve had to turn away **47 young people** 🚫, with no alternative local services available. 💔

As conversations around accountability and outcomes continue 🗣️, it’s vital to recognise the real and immediate need for early intervention and engagement programs across Northern Sydney. 📍
