🌏 This year's International Youth Day theme is "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations", a reminder that while young people grow up in very different circumstances, what they're reaching for is often the same: dignity, opportunity, and a real shot at their future.
Here on the Northern Beaches, that context doesn't always look like hardship from the outside, but the need is real. Rising costs, tightening funding for early intervention, and growing barriers to work and education are affecting local young people every day.
At Youth Up Front, we see their aspirations firsthand, in the confidence they build, the skills they gain, and the connections they make through our programs. Investing in young people isn't just good for them, it's good for all of us.
