In this heartfelt tribute, our founder, Mrs. Zahid Jamil, honours the legacy, love, and lifelong contributions of our beloved seniors. Their wisdom shaped us, their presence strengthened us, and their absence is deeply felt.

Though they may be gone, their stories continue to inspire, and their impact will forever remain a part of Samaa. 🤍

🌙 SAMAA Eid Milan 2026🌙

We were honoured to host SAMAA Eid Milan 2026 at MEFF, Fairfield Showground on Sunday, 22nd March 2026, bringing together our beautiful community for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and care.

SAMAA is a community-led charity dedicated to supporting elderly and senior members of South Asian Muslim backgrounds. Our mission is to create a space where seniors feel valued, connected, and culturally understood—through social engagement, support services, and community initiatives.

This special Eid Milan event was a reflection of that purpose—celebrating not just the festive occasion, but also the strength, wisdom, and presence of our seniors, who are truly the heart of our community 💛

We were privileged to have respected parliamentarians, community leaders, carers, volunteers, and families join us in making this event so meaningful and memorable.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported SAMAA—your presence continues to uplift and strengthen our seniors.

SAMAA’s Darling Harbour Cruise – A Joyous Day for Seniors*

SAMAA’s much anticipated Darling Harbour Cruise brought together a large number of South Asian Muslim seniors, volunteers, and SAMAA friends for a memorable day on Sydney’s sparkling harbour.

The event was filled with fun, entertainment, and valuable information tailored for seniors, who thoroughly enjoyed the delightful company of their contemporaries. The pleasant weather added to the joy of the occasion, creating a truly festive atmosphere on board.

SAMAA Team extends heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the success of this event including our dedicated volunteers, performers, speakers, and supporters. Their commitment and enthusiasm made it another shining example of SAMAA’s service to our precious seniors.

Had an amazing time on the SAMAA Sydney cruise! 🎤✨ The local singers brought incredible live entertainment, and the seniors absolutely loved every moment. Nothing beats the stunning harbour views paired with such vibrant energy on board. Can’t wait for the next one! 🚤🎶🌅
