As we say farewell to 2025 we also say goodbye to Jari's Place Inc.
I’d love to be able to individually thank those that have supported this place but that wouldn’t be possible, there’s too many of you 🙏🏽
During the time our door was open we have successfully supported many men and their kids as they navigate some pretty terrible times.
When i say WE i mean it. It was me that secured the rental and set the place up, but it was the Huon Valley that embraced these Dads and i couldn’t have done it without them.
It wasn’t just the Valley though, the support came from all around Australia. I could waffle on for ages about who did what but that would be silly.
I do have to give special thanks to the Grand Hotel Huonville and in particular Georgena Ann Roland for all they’ve done.
Hilltop Hike for believing this place needed backing.
Holly Upston, Angela Cassidy and Toby Thorpe - Deputy Mayor of the Huon Valley for being my personal cheer squad and so so many more!!
Then theres the many small businesses that have cleaned, mowed and done odd jobs to the place as well as those that have committed to being on going sponsors.
Such a shame the government couldn’t pitch in 😔
I won’t waffle on anymore, its a bit tricky to find the words, this has been a tough call. To be truthful, i’m feeling a bit like a failure but i’ve done the best i could do and with all the support that was given, we did good for these men ☺️❤️
