Our Fusion Sunshine Coast team recently shared this article. It's a reminder to be mindful when decluttering and donating to your local store.
Charity shops across the country are seeing an escalation of items being left outside after hours, often resulting in damaged items, meaning they can’t be sold or put to good use. This not only creates extra work for volunteers but sometimes leads to perfectly good donations going to waste. It also comes at financial cost to charities having to dispose of the items.
We would appreciate:
✅Please only donate during our opening hours.
✅ Make sure items are clean, in good condition, and something you’d happily give to a friend — if not, please recycle or dispose of them responsibly.
✅ If you're not sure, pop in and have a chat to the team.
