Keep an eye out for the threatened Eastern Barred Bandicoots in our reserve this & follow the advice attached if you would like to make your own patch bandicoot friendly :)

Have you seen this critter?
Though very rare, linira/eastern barred bandicoots can still be spotted around the Southern Beaches/Mumirimina country. This , think about what you can do to make your garden wildlife-friendly, and how you can provide habitat for threatened species like the EBB. Growing native tussocks like lomandra longifolia or poa labillardierei, driving slowly at night and keeping cats indoors are great steps for keeping our bandicoot buddies safe. If you see an EBB, don't forget to add your observation to .org, to contribute important data to conservation research in Lutruwita/Tasmania. Not sure how to ID native wildlife? Check out TLC's WildTracker guide! https://tasland.org.au/programs/wildlife-identification-guide/

Boneseed blitz with our junior Landcarers! If you spot a yellow flowering spindly shrub that looks like this popping up in your garden or in the bush please remove or check with us if you are unsure - this environmental w**d is preparing to set seed and, as the name suggests, the seeds are hardy and can last in the soil for a long time!
