Councillor Denis Chapmen dropped in to our Men’s Shed today which he does regularly. He was awarded a certificate of recognition of his acceptance of patron. Denis is an avid supporter of the Men’s Sheds in our area .

The Burrum district Men’s shed are waiting to cook your breakfast at Bunnings Hervey Bay , just pop on down and grab a sausage on bread and support the men’s shed. They will be there up until around 2.30 - 3 pm

This little group started a couple of years ago when my mate Rob Vella and I used to go down to the shops for a coffee once or twice a week. Then I got an idea to start a group with inviting others along in particular our Men’s shed although not confined to the men’s shed.
One of the main reasons is support men’s mental health.
I come up with the name of the old codgers coffee club ( occc ) started a page.
We are certainly very proud of the success of the group.
We meet every Friday morning around 8.45 am at foodworks Burrum Heads

HUGE GARAGE
Our massive garage sale is on again this Saturday the 2nd of April from 7am till 12midday . Huge amount of tools,brick a brac , plants and new items made by our members. There is also some free stuff . So do yourself a huge favour and drop in to our shed at 17 Steley street Howard and grab a bargain.
