Hello all
Hope you all have enjoyed the first couple of weeks of tennis.
Just a post to mention a few things that are happening at the moment

LAWN LOTTO
Lawn Lotto will start again on 24th October 2026. Same as last couple of years - cost is $20 per number and will last 10 weeks with a weekly prize of $50 going off.
If you wish to grab a number please comment here or message Brett and either bring $20 on Saturday or EFT to the Lawn Bank Account

HOTSHOTS
Hotshots have started and will run for a further 9 weeks. Each week we will be asking for 2 helpers from a team. It is from 9.30 to 10.30 on a Sat morning so please when it is your turn and you get a request we ask that you spare an hour of your time.

INTER REGIONALS
On the first weekend of Jan 2027 we are hosting the Regionals which is a huge 3 day event where players and families come from all over Victoria. We are hosting this event instead of the Pat Cash Cup. This will be a large fundraiser for the club.
Shortly there will be our usual rosters seeking volunteers and food donations for this event.

RAFFLE
Also we are currently sorting the annual raffle out and will be handing out raffle tickets to all players / families asap and will have to be returned by Christmas.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2026/27 club championship draws are done and will be put up at the clubhouse shortly. We will be starting some of these matches asap.

SHIRTS
A final reminder to please get your orders to Maree by 15th October so that a new order can be made

Welcome Jenny Maroske.

Jenny played her first game of competitive tennis today for what she tells us has been a number of years since her last game of. Competition. Jenny played for our B Special team Lawn McGennisken which managed to snag a win.

I know all our members will make Jenny feel welcome when they bump into her around the club or on the court. 🎾

The AGM was adjourned last night as there were no nominations for Association Secretary.
An appointment will need to be made at a meeting on Wednesday 13th May, 7pm at Horsham Lawn Tennis clubrooms.
