What an amazing program to teach our children the gift of giving while they learn how a solar light works- put it together solar - then gift it to a buddy who lives without life in another Country.
With so much sadness and many atrocities in the world, let’s all think about what we can do to improve someone else’s life. Simple things like mowing for a neighbour who can’t do it themselves or giving them a lift down the street, or having a cuppa with someone who’s lonely can all make a huge difference. “More for others in 2024”

SolarBuddy is an impact organisation uniting a global community to illuminate the futures of all children. We strive to provide opportunities for all children and believe that for future generations to thrive.

Some advice please. Investigating the petition regarding the parking meters. Utilising the Governance rules, as well as State Legislation, and legal knowledge, I question what methodology was used where signatures were removed from the petition. The petition itself must be written (not in pencil) to avoid the alteration of a petition after being signed, but the signing of a petition is bound by standard legal process, where a signature in pencil is still legally binding. Likewise a petition signed in Victoria is able to be signed by any resident, including children. Was evidence provided by Council to the petitioner on what grounds the names were removed?

Guess What - Council wants your feedback, you can attend the EXPO and provide your comments. Those who have been wanting to comment on fb, here's your chance.
But Mayor Gulline did mention in the media about "community led projects" but I am struggling to find any on the list online. You see by definition are- " Community-Led approaches are those that are led not by an organization or other outsiders but by a collective, community process."
So hopefully there's an area at the EXPO that is like I spotted on HRCC website, which asks:
- Which three projects do you think should be an advocacy priority?
- What other projects should Council be advocating for?
- Please tell us what else is important to you.
Because the online form for choosing your 3 priorities doesn't have space for you to answer about other projects or what is important to you.

Using the app you can take a photo, report the location and the issue and the app will send a report to the council. It also allows you to track past requests.
