A Horsham based group of Rover Scouts, Buandik Rover Crew welcomes young adults aged between 18-26

On Wednesday 29/4 the Buandik Rovers made terrariums in jars. With a few small plants, pebbles and glass jars, we created our own little ecosystems.
If you're an adult aged 18-25 and like to join in on the fun, send us a message. The more the merrier!

On Saturday 25/4 the Buandik Rovers participated in the ANZAC day march, commemorating the soldiers who gave their lives to fight in WWI, WWII and other wars.
Although the events of war are horrific, we can look back today to thank the soldiers and others in those times for their bravery and sacrifice.
You will be remembered and your courage will inspire generations to come.

A great start to the year for the Buandik Rovers.
We attended Surfmoot on Australia day in Anglesea, went hiking in the Grampians, built and sailed rafts on the Horsham river, and held a spooky cooking night for Friday the 13th.
We also attended the boot of Ethan and Josh from Boss Hurst Rovers. Although it was sad to see them go, we had a fun weekend 4-wheel-driving in Lerderderg to celebrate.

Great work to our unit and region members helping achieve a long awaited goal!

What a way to end the year! Last Friday, the Buandik Rovers celebrated our Christmas breakup with a game of water baseball. Instead of running to each base, we had to slip and slide! Lots of good summer fun had all round with much more to come next year!

Buandik Rovers have been busy this past month. From a murder mystery night, to an evening at the Horsham driving range, every week had something different. Our most recent outing was the South West Rover Region Christmas breakup in Anglesea this past weekend. Along with Kulin Rover Crew, Boss Hurst Rovers and Yarramback Rovers, we paricipated in hiking, mini golf, four wheel driving and a lovely dinner at Aireys Inlet Pub.

On Friday 24/10, the Buandik Rovers joined up with Ballarat's Kulin rovers for a group night at the Aradale Lunatic Asylum. We started off the night by meeting at the Ararat RSL for a delicious meal before heading to Aradale for our 9pm tour. We learnt about the history of the building, how the facility was managed, how people were diagnosed as lunatics and much more. Some of us had a few frights but all of us had a good time. We ended the night with a quick maccas run before heading back to the Ararat Scout hall to sleep. We disbursed back home in the morning with a few of us stopping at Sede cafe for a nice breakfast.
