The Centre for Participation changes lives and communities through local opportunities in learning, volunteering, community support and partnerships. We work with you to find the options you need to create the future you want and build the community you want to live in. We do this by connecting you with the learning, volunteering and community support services that suit you and open up the pathway

s to a different life. Our services include:

>> accredited courses
>> lifelong learning and skill-based education
>> volunteer information, training and placement
>> opportunities to be supported or to support others in our community. We believe that anything is possible for anybody. For over 30 years, we’ve focused on supporting people to get involved, responding to local needs, and creating a strong and thriving community.

While we’ve been connecting nationally this week at the Meals on Wheels Conference, our local teams continue delivering practical support every day.

Through My Care Crew, we provide gardening and home maintenance services that help people remain safe and independent in their own homes.

It’s this connection between national reform conversations and local delivery that matters most.

Transparent pricing from $77 per hour (GST inclusive), plus tip fees where applicable.

This week we’re representing our region at the Meals on Wheels National Conference.

It’s an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the country, share learnings, and strengthen how we deliver meals, social connection and community support locally.

We look forward to bringing back insights that continue to strengthen services right across the Wimmera.

Supporting carers means creating space to connect.

This week, members of our Carers Program gathered at the Wimmera Food Collective , sharing conversation, coffee and time away from their caring roles.

At the same time, one of our learners continued building hospitality skills through supported employment.

Programs and social enterprise working together. Strengthening participation across our community.

Regional food security relies on local collaboration.

Today, volunteer Mitch delivered fresh produce to Ararat Neighbourhood House as part of our Wimmera Food Security Project, strengthening regional food distribution networks.

Sustainable regional food systems require strong partnerships — and we’re proud to work alongside organisations making a difference on the ground.

Regional participation is social infrastructure.

Our CEO, Robert Millar, recently reflected on how participation underpins everything we do — across CHSP, NDIS, social enterprise and broader community programs.

In regional communities, connection, skill-building and inclusion don’t happen by accident. They require structured programs, strong partnerships and committed teams.

At Centre for Participation, this work strengthens individuals and communities alike.

Staying connected matters.

Last week, our Social Support group enjoyed a day out by the water. Good conversation, fresh air and plenty of laughs.

Programs like this aren’t just outings. They help reduce isolation, support wellbeing and keep people connected to community.

That connection is protective for health, and it matters at every age.
