Baulkham Hills Olave Program is a peer group for Girl Guiding women aged 18-30 in Sydney, NSW.

The Olave Program enables young women to "Live for the Challenge".

Olave Ball ⚔️✨

We shared "An Enchanted Knight" a few weeks ago at Olave Ball 2026! Olaves and Rovers from across the state had a chance to dress up, catch up and dance the night away!

Congratulations to those who won awards for their incredible outfits!

Big thank you to the Olave Ball team from Baulkham Hills Olave Program for organising, to our DJ Mya Marie for bringing some fantastical tunes and to our photographer Ruby for the awesome photos!

💜Northern Sydney Region Olave Get Together💜

Last night Susie organised a get together for Olaves in our region for her Olave Baden Powell Award!

It was such a fun night full of scrummy food and good yaps! We did some challenging Olave trivia, showed off our favourite camp fits and played some card games and shared badges!

Stick's 1st Birthday 🦕🎂

In July we celebrated our mascot Stick's 1st Birthday with some sprinkle embroidery! Jess baked us a delicious homemade cake, which we used to try our hand at the delicate art of sprinkle embroidery - making designs one sprinkle at a time!

It was definitely a test of patience but we came out with some cool results and a few portraits of Stick!

💜🦪 30 Years of the Olave Program: Our Home Away from Home 🦪💜

Last week, 5 Baulkham Hills Olaves travelled to Douglas Scrub Campsite to meet with over 100 other Olaves at the first National Olave Camp!

We had the best time exploring Adelaide, trading badges, learning new campfire songs, and partying!!

Three Baulko Olaves also took on positions on the planning committee, putting in countless hours behind the scenes and during the weekend to make sure that camp ran smoothly and that lots of memories were made!

🔥 Flamboree

Last Sunday Baulkham Hills Olaves hosted Flamboree for Northern Sydney Region Olaves and our local Rover friends!

We had the perfect night for a campfire! We enjoyed singing along to some classic favourites, and learnt some new songs too like "Peace Like a River" 👏 from Singapore and "I've Been Eaten By a Boa Constrictor" 🐍 from Victoria!

Our newest Olave then renewed her Promise, officially becoming a Baulkham Hills Olave!

Finally we ended the night with a s'mores buffet with every kind of s'mores you could think of! We had the classic s'mores, as well as savoury s'mores, campfire cones, cookie dough s'mores, strawberries dipped in marshmallow fluff and even flower shaped s'mores! We bet you've never had a s'mores spread this good!

So much fun to join in this global event every June! 🤤

Cumberland Gang Show presents ELECTRIFY ⚡🎭

One of our incredible Olaves, Zoe, is performing in this year's Cumberland Gang Show!

Gang Show is two hours of live, fast-moving, musical comedy theatre for all the family. It's packed with loads of fun sets and costumes and some wonderfully catchy songs and dances, all performed by a cast of more than 150 Guides and Scouts aged eight and up!

⭐ Peer Group Spotlight: Baulkham Hills Olave Program ⭐

We are a fun, social gaggle of girls who meet at Baulkham Hills Girl Guide Hall on Sunday Nights. We go on indoor and outdoor adventures and continue Guiding as adults at our own pace and in a great peer support group. We have chosen our mascot as a dinosaur to match how we sometimes feel as adult members! If nature, service, networking and having fun is something you enjoy, reach out to us! 🦕

🗓️ When: Every 2 weeks on a Sunday 6.30-8.30pm with some daytime meetings too
