$30,936.50!!!

What an incredible effort from our community!

All proceeds from this year's event will go towards Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research, and thanks to the amazing support of our community, we've set another new event record.

Last year we smashed through the $24,000 mark. This year, we've gone even further, raising an incredible $30,936.50.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who played a part in making this event such a success.

To all our sponsors, local businesses and individuals who donated raffle prizes and auction items, thank you for your generosity.

To everyone who donated, bid in the auctions, bought raffle tickets, or paid good money to watch some very brave (or slightly crazy!) people take on the icy slide, thank you for your support.

To every single slider who braved the freezing water, thank you for helping raise awareness and funds for such an important cause.

A massive thank you also goes to the incredible organising team and volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make the event happen.

Months of planning, coordination and hard work go into an event like this, and we want to acknowledge those who spent countless hours in the lead-up securing donations, contacting businesses, collecting auction and raffle items, coordinating sliders, organising logistics and making sure everything was ready.

From setting up and running the slide, working canteen and bar shifts, helping with raffles and auctions, collecting donations, chasing up auction items, running around solving last-minute problems, and simply stepping in wherever needed – this event wouldn't happen without the dedication of our volunteers and community members.

The amount of time, effort and energy that goes on behind the scenes often isn't seen, but it is very much appreciated. This event is a success because of the people who generously give up their time to make it happen.

Special thanks to Geoff Fyfe, who once again did a fantastic job as MC for the evening. (And sorry... not sorry... for ending up in the ice! 😂)

Congratulations to all our auction and raffle winners, and thank you to everyone who participated throughout the night.

Before the action kicks off, take a moment to read a little more about the Big Freeze, Neale Daniher and the incredible legacy he created in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Last year our community raised an incredible $24,000 for FightMND. While that's a tough act to follow, every dollar raised helps fund research, support families affected by MND and continue the fight against "The Beast".

Get ready for a huge night of fundraising, community spirit and a whole lot of freezing cold fun!

Last year, our incredible community raised a whopping $24,000 for FightMND. This year we're hoping to once again fill the club, have a laugh, dig deep and raise as much as we can for a cause that affects so many Australian families.

We've already received some amazing donations from local businesses and supporters!

❄️ Big Freeze merchandise will also be available to purchase throughout the day while stocks last. Official Big Freeze merchandise has sold out online, so don't miss your chance to grab some on the day!
🎟 Raffle tickets will also be available throughout the day. Make sure you grab yours early as raffle sales will close before the slide starts at 5.30pm.
