Burdekin Brass Band

Burdekin Brass Band The Burdekin Brass Band provides marching and stage performances throughout the Burdekin Shire. Members consist of all levels of musical talent.

The Burdekin Brass Band has been apart of the district under several names for approximately 100 years. During this time has provided marching band and stage band for community events, as well as, it has offered music tuition to up and coming musicians free of charge. Events that are normally attended by the Burdekin Brass Band are: Australia Day Ceremonies, ANZAC Day services and Water and Harves

t festival parades. The Burdekin Brass Band is usually available to perform at outings when requested, such as school fetes, agricultural shows, any many more community events. Burdekin Brass Band welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Tuition and musical instruments can be provided for those wishing to join our organisation. Contacts:

The Australian National Band Championships kick off in Brisbane tomorrow, and weโ€™re excited to have several Burdekin Brass Band members taking part!

Mark will be competing in the individual sections on both trumpet (Thursday at 8:30am) and flugelhorn (Thursday at 2:30pm). While CC will be showcasing her talents in Junior Tenor Horn and Junior French Horn sections.
