Our hampers are just amazing!
If I do say so myself ❤️
I don’t often post photos of them, purely because it is super time consuming to “pretty up” for a photo.
I usually just pack as I go. But I thought it was about time to share a few pictures as there a lot of new members, and also to keep up the morale of the group and show what goes out to families in our community.
Each hamper is different. It allows comes down to what we have on hand. Our hampers are large, they also include what fridge/frozen we have. They go to one a family as a once off. We don’t do multiple requests, short term hampers etc. This is just a personal preference and choice by me and what I believe works. I can help a family with other options if they have already had a hamper before, whether it be give some staples or refer them to other places.
Doing the hamper program this way, allows me to spread the love to more families, and allows me to give more items then a quick box of short term relief, so this I hope helps a family for a month. By giving toiletries, cleaning items etc it then aides more money for a family to put towards bills, kids expenses, fuel the list goes on.
It’s so hard for so many, we really need to look out for each other and know when to ask for help.
Grateful this community group and others in our local area continue to grow and help each other purely off donated items by all of you.
Thankyou for supporting 4207 Helping Hands and our Clothing Hub.
Remember all the action happens over in our private group.
