Fabulous NGO doing wonderful work - Are you their next CEO?

MDWWG seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and drive its mission forward—fostering wetland rehabilitation in the southern Murray-Darling Basin through strong community engagement and empowerment.

After nearly 25 incredible years with the group, Deb will be passing the torch to the next generation of leaders.

"I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve accomplished over the years, made possible by the many dedicated individuals, unsung heroes, and organisations who have supported our journey. It has been a true privilege to work alongside such talented and committed staff and Board members—and it’s been a whole lot of fun too! A fantastic organisation to work with, and I am excited to watch the next chapter unfold" Deb says.

If you love wetlands, working with people and making a real impact, then we want to talk to you!

Location is flexible (NSW/Vic/SA/ACT)

What does truly regenerative farming look like in practice?

Join us at Future Grounds in Albury on Wednesday 14 May to hear from those leading the way—like Michael Gooden, regenerative farmer and President of Vic No Till.

Michael is deeply committed to connecting healthy soil, healthy produce, and healthy farmers. Through his work with Vic No Till, RCS Australia, the Australian Holistic Management Co-op, and Holbrook Landcare, he’s helping shape the future of regenerative ag in Australia.

At Willowlee, his family’s property, Michael and his wife Heloise run Old Man Creek – Grass Fed Bulls, breeding Angus cattle adapted to cell grazing and pasture-only systems. He brings real-world experience and deep insight into how holistic land management and ecological monitoring can lead to more resilient, profitable farming.

Don't miss this chance to hear from grassroots leaders transforming Australian agriculture. 🌾

This project was the right of passage for students from Latrobe and CSU environment courses back in the 90's (ive got fond? memories of Ray Thomas' square dances back at the Scout camp). Large scale reveg projects like this do make a difference! Holbrook and West Hume Landcare achieved alot in the early 2000's that is starting to come online now as mature veg with great nectar resources. Its a long term game!

Since the Regent Honeyeater Project kicked off in the 1990s, tens of thousands of volunteers have helped to regenerate farmland in order to help save the critically endangered species.

Great results from Albury region!

Well done to all the observers of this year’s Great Southern BioBlitz (GSB24)! Across the Albury Wodonga region we recorded a total of 305 species! This well and truly surpassed last year’s total of 187. A big thank you to Karen Retra from Wodonga Urban Landcare Network, not only for sharing her...
