Tasmania Skilled Migration Update
The Tasmanian Government has announced that Registrations of Interest (ROls) for all pathways under the Skilled Migration State Nomination Program will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 3 June 2026 due to high demand.

The final invitation round for the 2025-26 program year is expected on Thursday, 4 June 2026.

What this means:
• ROls close on 3 June 2026

• Applicants who have already submitted an ROl do not need to reapply

• Uninvited ROls will remain active for 6 months and may be considered in the next program year

• Migration Tasmania will continue processing applications already lodged

• Approved applications may be carried over once

Tasmania receives its 2026-27 allocation.
Migration Tasmania is expected to reopen ROls for eligible candidates in the new program year, with further updates to be announced on their website and newsletter.

Tragically, Pradeep was involved in a severe road accident seven years ago, resulting in the loss of his left leg, multiple fractures, and spinal injuries. Although he survived, he now endures constant and severe pain, including phantom limb pain. Despite these challenges, his resilience and courage continue to inspire many.

Medical professionals have recommended a Spinal Cord Stimulator implant- a specialized procedure that could significantly alleviate his pain and improve his quality of life. Unfortunately, the cost of this treatment is beyond his financial means.

This fundraiser has been established to support Pradeep in obtaining the urgent medical care he needs. According to Pradeep, the operation costs around 30 lakh Indian Rupees (approximately 49 lakh Nepali Rupees). So far, he has raised 5 lakh Nepali Rupees with the help of generous supporters. Every donation will go directly to him, so he can pay for his treatment, hospital bills, rehabilitation, and the care he needs afterward. The fundraiser was created at Pradeep’s request, as he is unable to establish a GoFundMe campaign from Nepal.

Pradeep’s situation highlights the importance of community support in helping individuals overcome serious health challenges. Through collective efforts, we can help restore his hope, enhance his mobility, and alleviate his suffering.
