The Filipino community in Tasmania is vibrant and growing, with more than 2,400 residents born in the Philippines recorded in the 2021 Census. Ambassador Morales and Consul General Domingo expressed their appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the Philippines-Australia Community of Tasmania (PACT) in bringing Filipinos together and promoting Filipino culture, language and traditions, as well as the Philippine Aid Relief from Tasmania Foundation (PART) in supporting relief efforts in the Philippines.

From Philippine Independence Day celebrations and Paskuhan Fiesta to community and parish activities, Filipino-Tasmanians continue to celebrate their heritage and enrich Tasmania’s multicultural community. - END
