Choir of High Hopes Hobart Choir of High Hopes Hobart offers people experiencing disadvantage in its many forms the opportunity to sing in a safe and welcoming environment.

The Choir of High Hopes rehearses every Tuesday (except January) from 1.00pm-2.30pm followed by afternoon tea at the Scots Church Hall in Bathurst St, Hobart. There is no audition, no cost, no commitment. We invite you to be a part of our choir family. The choir is solely funded by earnings from gigs, donations and occasional grants. This weekend we performed at the Red Cross event, Red Connect Tasmania – Local Stories Sparking Action at Moonah Arts Centre.

Choir board member Edwin Johnstone was part of the panel and he shared the story of the choir and how music can bring people together and strengthen community.

It was inspiring to hear so many local stories and practical ideas showing how small actions can make a real difference across Tasmania.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a positive and energising event. 🎶
