Vulnerability isn't a weakness; it's the ultimate sign of courage. 💪❤️

Men's Health Week (June 15 to June 21) is a time to pause and reflect on the health challenges facing the men in our lives.

This week aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health for men and boys, encouraging them to seek help and support.

This month-long event coincides with Men's Health Week, which further emphasizes the holistic wellbeing of men and boys.

Male life expectancy is, on average, four years shorter and they are more likely to suffer from lifestyle-related health conditions than women of the same age.
Sadly, men also have a four times higher risk of dying by su***de.

On Wednesday the 1st of July we are doing an exciting bus trip to the North of Tasmania. We will be visiting Oatlands, Ross, Deloraine and Launceston. We encourage men of all ages to come along and participate in this wonderful initiative.

We will be having a special lunch at Deloraine Espresso, organised by our dear friend Germano and his wonderful staff.

A wonderful day celebrating Italian Republic Day (Festa della Repubblica) at the Italian Day Centre.

It was an honour to have the The Lord Mayor of Hobart, Councillor Anna Reynolds, the Mayor of Glenorchy, Alderman Sue Hickey and Sandra Fagan, long time supporters of the Italian Day Centre attend this special event.

A big thank you to Valentina Quaranta for the amazing entertainment she provided.
