🕵️‍♀️ DO I HAVE TO ASK QUESTIONS? 🕵️‍♀️

Short answer: no.

Feathers & Felons is an interactive murder mystery, but you get to choose how involved you are. Love a good interrogation? Go for it. Question the suspects, chase every clue and corner the Maître d’ by the bar.

More of a silent lurker? That’s fine too. Grab a drink, find a good spot, and listen in. Half the clues are dropped in conversations that other people start, and some of the best detectives never say a word.

Either way, everyone gets a vote at the end of the night. Pick your feather, hold it high, and name your suspect.

No acting required. No script to learn. Just come ready to watch closely. 👀

Bring the chatty friend and the quiet one. Every table needs both.

"Places where people care and let people make art is all we really have."

It's AusArt Day today (!!!)

For nearly 30 years, Kickstart Arts has been bringing people together through creativity and connection. We've seen firsthand what happens when people are given the space, support and opportunity to make something - we hope you've enjoyed some of those stories as we've shared them over the past month.

We want to keep making those opportunities possible. If you believe in what we do, help us keep on keeping on by donating or sharing our fundraiser today. Every little bit genuinely makes a difference!

“Support Kickstart because it means I can stay here.”

In one of the most aesthetically pleasing studios imaginable you’ll find luthier and archetier, Philip Smith.

Philip spends his days making bows and instruments that go all around the world (v cool), surrounded by beautiful tools, timber and our little community at Kickstart Arts. You’ll often see him working away in his studio or around the Community Kitchen Project, having lunch with his dog, Bootsie.

Day is TOMORROW (!!) 🧡

We’re raising $5,000 to keep spaces like Philip’s affordable, pay local artists, and make more creative opportunities possible for our community.

We’re just over halfway, and have until tomorrow evening to reach our goal!

Every donation or share helps us make art happen.

“If I didn’t have it, I don’t know what I’d do.”

Natalia Bennett is one of the most hard working and generous visual and graphic artists you’ll meet. She found a creative home at Kickstart during a really challenging time in her life. When housing instability left her without a place to make art, we became an affordable space to keep creating.

Since then, Natalia has held exhibitions, painted murals, worked with organisations like Hobart Airport Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Bob Brown Foundation and shared her skills through our Youth Arts workshops. She is so driven and creative, and we love seeing everything she does.

We want to keep making stories like Natalia’s possible!

We’ve raised $1,500 of our $5,000 Day goal, and have until THURSDAY EVENING to raise the rest (!!)

If you can help by donating or spreading the word, we’d be so grateful! 🧡🧡🧡
