🚗🍽️ VOLUNTEER DELIVERED MEALS DRIVERS NEEDED IN GEORGE TOWN 🍽️🚗

A meal can mean so much more than food.

Every week, Australian Red Cross George Town volunteers help deliver meals and a friendly face to elderly and vulnerable people across the local community. For many clients, that quick chat at the front door is just as important as the meal itself.

Right now, we urgently need more volunteer drivers to help keep this vital service running.

✅ Just 1–1.5 hours per week
✅ Pick up meals from George Town Hospital
✅ Deliver to local residents
✅ Flexible volunteering
✅ Share a delivery route with a friend, partner or family member

It's a simple way to make a real difference in someone's day while helping older community members stay connected, independent and supported.

The story highlighted the incredible impact volunteers make across Tasmania and the important role our Red Cross Shops play in supporting communities, raising vital funds, and creating welcoming spaces for connection.
