Spanish book collection launch by the Latin American Cultural Association of Tasmania (LACAT) and Libraries Tasmania

During the weekend, LACAT had an amazing culmination of what has been a long journey. They partnered up with Libraries Tasmania to incorporate over 280 children’s books in Spanish to their collection.

LACAT is committed to the cultural preservation of Latin American roots specially for our children, through food, events, music and foremost, literature.
While the collection will be stored in the Hobart Library, it will be available throughout Tasmania. If you live up North, South, or even in Flinders Island, you can access these books through the library website (Home - Libraries Tasmania).

This wonderful project was launched on last Saturday at the Hobart library, with music, dance and food. Thanks to everyone who came, great turnout!
