The family have already been here 3 months! So much experienced & achieved in such a short amount of time. They have settled in & are all attending school or TAFE with learning English a priority. One family member has recently passed their Learner Driver’s test which is exciting & a real achievement.

Today was moving day! We helped the family move into their new home in Lenah Valley.

A massive thank you to Moira & Nick for providing temporary housing for the family for the past 5 weeks.

It is so hard for Refugee families to find accommodation. Please consider helping out if you have the opportunity.

A lack of rental history and understanding of local rental processes means many families miss out on housing - even when they’re ready to rent and pay on time.

We’re urgently seeking long-term rentals from 1-bedroom and upwards for families prepared to move in now.

These families are transitioning from our short-term accommodation, have worked hard to learn rental management skills, and are ready to move into long-term homes.

We will appreciate your support in opening doors to these families and helping them build stable futures.

If you have a property available, please reach out on 03 6221 0999 or [email protected].

Can everyone keep an eye out for this bright green kid's bike which was unfortunately stolen from Mount Stuart on Saturday night? Mohammad has been having a great time riding it - we'll try to source another one if it doesn't turn up.
