HACSU members are employed at over 450 worksites across the State. HACSU improves the working lives of our members by negotiating im

provements in wages and conditions and protecting workers rights. HACSU is organised so that members have a genuine voice in their workplace and have real control of the issues that affect their working lives. members' experience shows that many issues can only be satisfactorily resolved when members themselves come together as a group and support each other. As a union, HACSU represents members to provide the collective strength to bargain for reasonable wages and conditions and ensure proper professional standards are delivered. Tasmania’s public health and community services workers make a difference every single day by caring for our loved ones, supporting people through difficult times, protecting public health, strengthening communities and helping make Tasmania a fairer, safer and healthier place for everyone.

During HACSU’s public sector week, we travelled across the state with a simple message: thank you for everything you do! You work under real pressure, but your skill and dedication has an impact on every Tasmanian, and our community is stronger because of you. 🩷💙
