Tasmanian Foundation for Occupational Medicine TFOM is the Peak Body for the specialty of Occupational Medicine in Tasmania.

Our Foundation's "raison d’être" is to support the education and and training of doctors committed to this speciality in Tasmania. Through engagement with employers and employees, health practitioners, insurers and government organisations, we will promote the specialty and assist those engaged in occupational medicine practice to reach the highest professional standard to provide evidence-based,

independent advice about prevention of work-related injury and ill-health and the interplay between health and work, thereby contributing to Tasmania’s economic success”
