Highcroft-Stormlea Country Women's Association meets monthly in the Old School at Highcroft, 1 Clarks Rd (5kms from Nubeena Rd on Stormlea Rd) just after 499 Stormlea Rd on the first Wednesday of the month (except Jan) This branch was started in 1946 by a group of ladies to support each other and to become part of the larger network of Country Women supporting others around the State, Country & World

Comfort in the toughest moments.

Today, the CWA Community Support Officer South delivered a wonderful donation of Buddy Bears to the lovely Tenille at Ambulance Tasmania.

A Buddy Bear is a hand-knitted or crocheted bear that is given to children by paramedics, police, firefighters and hospital staff during times of crisis. These special bears help comfort and reassure children, provide a welcome distraction, build trust, and offer emotional support during traumatic events such as accidents, fires, medical emergencies and natural disasters.

Thank you to the hardworking and talented ladies of the Highcroft-Stormlea CWA Branch for knitting and donating these beautiful bears.

Your generosity and kindness will bring comfort to many children when they need it most.
