The Heywood Angling Club members past and present would like to extend our deepest condolences and respects to Val, Kerry,Julie,Ashley,Dean and their families on the passing of ‘Alby’ Millard.

Alby was a long time family friend and member for decades of our club. An avid fishermen, fierce competitor and contributor who frequently ventured on to the waters for a bite. He held a wealth of knowledge and experience of our waters and inhabitants and loved to share in his abundance of stories.

A staunch stoic and strong willed man who fought against their narrative and stood firm on his own ground till the end. He will be greatly missed within our community and fondly remembered and talked about for many years to come.

Our love and thoughts to the Millard families during this time.

Members past and present, please raise your beer today in both celebration of life in knowing and in now in rememberance to Alby!🍻🐟🕊️
