Heyfield Community Resource Centre

Heyfield Community Resource Centre HCRC is Heyfield's local Neighbourhood House, offering short courses, social and leisure activities. HCRC is the heart of the local community.

Each term we offer short courses, classes and social activities to help people learn new skills and make new connections in the community. We also offer occasional childcare, a lawn mowing service and run a Men's Shed. Exciting new projects include a community garden and nursery, sustainability initiatives and a pop-up craft shop.

Coming this! Book your ticket now 🚴‍♀️🧗‍♀️🏝️
The Women's Adventure Film Tour 2026 is back to celebrate extraordinary women and their thrilling adventures in the outdoors.
Being adventurous doesn't always mean being the fastest, the strongest, going the highest or doing the most extreme activities. Adventure for most of us is stepping outside our comfort zone and climbing our own Everest or Kilimanjaro.
This year's special guest Robyn Kercher, a passionate adventurer and President of the Ben Cruachan Walking Club (BCWC), will be sharing her stories and tips on the great outdoor opportunities we have in our local area to stay fit and active all year round.

Don't miss out on this event! Tickets are $10 per person, with a light supper provided. Purchase tickets via our Trybooking page: https://www.trybooking.com/DOOXL
Proceeds go towards supporting the Heyfield Community Resource Centre.

Last week students from our 'Be Work Ready - Jobs on Farms' program participated in two local farm tours, where they were able to learn about the different employment opportunities in both dairy and horticulture, and experience the industry first hand.
This is another way that the Future of Heyfield project is building capacity and connections within our community.

We extend our thanks to Michael from Fresh Select, and Nicole from BNS Agriculture for hosting these tours, answering the students questions and sharing with them their knowledge and experience.
