Great day out & about - R1 the servo, R2 Torbanlea, R3 morning tea @ Childers, then onto The Spotted Dog inside the Railway Hotel, Nth Bundaberg meeting up with the Bundaberg branch for lunch. I lost count of the cars as we picked up more members along the way.
Then we made our way to Calavos for afternoon tea & viewing of Barry & Coral's collectables, most very large, but some small.

Fire had closed Goodwood Rd, so we left in stages via Childers Rd.
Some planned on a Maminos icecream on the journey home, but as Coral outdid herself once again with such a lovely array of cakes & biscuits, I think we were all full.

Pity the local news wasn't on tonight to see the extent of the fire, but we copped a car full of smoke at one stage.

10 cars, 19 members (including 2 from Mackay) at Sea Breeze Cafe, the Esplanade Scarness for brunch.
Most met at the servo @ 9am for a drive around the new housing estates along Rasmussen & Doorlong South Roads, to Booral Rd then the Esplanade.

Largish meals & a variety of drinks.

Fabulous mid week run organised by David & Dillys - about 30 members. Scenic drive around Point Vernon ending at the HB Model Railways for morning tea & train viewing & rides.
Then onto Kondari Hotel for lunch.

Weekend away in Redland Bay & Mt Cotton with the club to watch David at the hillclimb.

5 couples in total, awesome day for practice, the weather was wonderful, along with the cars.

Dinner nearby hotel at Merak, then an early start 8:30am at the track Sunday before a longish drive home.

Lovely sunny but cool day! About 15 cars, we met at the servo in HerveyBay & headed to Anzac Park, Maryborough for morning tea after about 30 mins, only to find half the park & parking area fenced off for renovations.

We found a large area with tables & benches suitable - funny that no Maryborough members attended.

We left about 1.5 hours later & headed to Burrum Heads Tavern, the long way. Most parked up in formation, what a sight, mainly MGBs.

Great venue & the meals were huge, especially the burgers.

Close to 50 members gathered for breakfast at Salty Squid, Toogoom this morning.
About half met at the servo for a short drive around Dundowran, others were already there when we arrived, many more drove directly from Maryborough.
A very large turnout for a mud week meet.

23rd March 2023 - A gathering of MG Car Club & Wide Bay Rodders vehicles at the premises of Beyond the Spectrum @ Nikenbah.
The patrons & staff were delighted with the car display, rewarding us with sausage sandwiches & drinks for lunch.

28 people, 14 cars! Great drive & weather. Lunch at Granville Hotel - large meals, great variety & service. We will be back.
