Beautiful Blossom is slowly but surely finding her confidence, and it’s been lovely watching her personality continue to shine! 💗

🐱❤️ FOSTER CARERS NEEDED — ADULT CATS ❤️🐱

Nana’s Animal Rescue is currently closed to adult cat intake — not because the cats don’t need us, but because we simply don’t have enough foster carers. 💔

Adult cats are some of the animals that need us the most. Sadly, they are also the ones who can spend the longest time in care, as finding forever homes for adult cats can be incredibly difficult.

We want to be able to continue helping them, but we need YOU to help us make that possible. 🏠🐾

✨ WHAT DOES FOSTERING INVOLVE?

Opening your home to an adult cat and giving them a safe, loving place to stay while we search for their forever family.

Nana’s Animal Rescue covers:
🐾 Veterinary care
🐾 Vaccinations
🐾 Microchipping
🐾 Desexing
🐾 Flea & tick prevention
🐾 Food
🐾 Litter
🐾 Toys and other essentials
🐾 Any veterinary treatment they may require

All cats complete a two-week quarantine before going into foster care.

As a foster carer, your role is simply to provide:
❤️ A safe home
❤️ Love and attention
❤️ Patience and care
❤️ A little space for them to settle
❤️ A temporary home until their forever family comes along

That’s it.

You don’t need to financially provide for the cat, and you don’t need to commit to keeping them forever. You are simply giving an animal the chance to be safe, loved and cared for while we find their forever home.

🐱 Adult cats deserve homes too.

There are so many wonderful adult cats who are overlooked simply because they aren’t tiny kittens. By fostering, you can help us say YES to these cats again.

If you have room in your home and your heart for an adult cat, please consider becoming a foster carer for Nana’s Animal Rescue. ❤️

🏠 No foster carers = no intake.
🐾 One foster home = one more cat we can help.

Our beautiful girl Blaize has settled into Nana’s Animal Rescue beautifully! 🥰🏡

Blaize is a happy kitty who absolutely loves her fur siblings and enjoys a good snuggle! 😻💕 She has such a sweet nature, and we love seeing her enjoying life surrounded by love and companionship.

🐾💖 WINNIE’S LITTLE UPDATE! 💖🐾

Our beautiful Winnie has had her desexing done and is healing well! 🩷 Unfortunately, she is NOT a fan of the cone of shame or being told she can’t play while her stitches heal. 😂🐶 Trying to convince a puppy that she needs to rest and be calm is definitely easier said than done! 🙈💕

Despite having to take it easy for now, Winnie is still her incredibly affectionate self and loves being close to her humans. She is a big fan of her chew toys, so keeping her entertained without too much activity is the current mission! 🦴🧸

🌙 Bedtime routine? She’s got it sorted! Winnie is currently crate trained for night-time sleeping and knows her routine so well that she will often put herself in her crate when she knows it’s bedtime. What a clever girl! 🥹💗

🐕 We’re still working on those leash-walking skills! Winnie has been doing pretty well, but this is temporarily on hold while she heals. Her new family will need to continue working with her on lead walking as she grows and gains confidence.

Winnie can still be quite timid in unfamiliar environments and around new people. She generally needs around an hour to warm up, so a patient family who understands that she needs time to feel safe will be important. Once she starts feeling comfortable, her affectionate personality really shines through. 🏡💞

Winnie is looking for a family who will continue guiding her, building her confidence and giving her all the love she deserves. Could you be the one to help this gorgeous girl grow into the confident, happy dog we know she can be? 🐾💖
