At 3 Minds QLD, we are proud supporters of the Special Olympics Australia Redlands Club and the incredible opportunities it creates for people of all abilities. ❤️

This year, their freezin’ for a reason! 🥶
The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge is raising funds for Special Olympics Australia by taking the plunge into icy water — all to help ensure people with intellectual disability and/or autism can continue to access inclusive sporting opportunities across Australia.

Because every Australian deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, connection, and sense of belonging that sport brings.

Sport should be a place where everyone feels welcomed, included, and supported — without judgement. Special Olympics Redlands. The Redlands Club provides exactly that. Run by dedicated volunteers, this amazing group gives individuals the chance to build confidence, develop independence, improve physical skills, and most importantly, create genuine friendships and connections within the community.

We have seen firsthand the positive impact this club has on participants — from increased confidence and social engagement to the joy that comes from simply being part of a team and achieving personal goals. The impact of these programs extends far beyond the playing field.

Lest we forget 🌺

At 3 Minds QLD, we pause today to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country.

We remember not only those who gave their lives, but also the ongoing strength of veterans, families, and communities impacted by service.

Today is a reminder of resilience, respect, and the importance of supporting one another.

To all the incredible staff working at our local servos ⛽👏

Thank you.

This morning I was speaking with staff, and they shared something that honestly shocked me — they are being abused about fuel prices 4–5 times an hour.

Every hour. Every shift.

That is not okay.

Fuel prices are rising due to global factors, economic pressures, and things far outside the control of the person standing behind the counter.

Yet they are the ones copping the frustration.

What people also forget is — they’re in the exact same position as the rest of us.

They’re paying the same fuel prices.
They’re dealing with the same cost of living pressures.

I run two diesel vehicles for work — I feel it every day. But that frustration does not belong with servo staff.

No one deserves to go to work and be abused just for doing their job.

To the community — we need to do better.
Be kind. Be patient. Think before you speak.

To every servo worker — we see you, we appreciate you, and you deserve respect. 💛

And to our incredible support workers, staff, and frontline teams at 3 Minds QLD 💙

You continue to show up every day — supporting participants, families, and our community — even while facing the same rising costs, fuel pressures, and day-to-day challenges as everyone else.

You are travelling between shifts, using your own vehicles, managing long days, and still giving your time, patience, and care to others.

That does not go unnoticed.

To all support workers, disability staff, and those in caring roles — you are the backbone of what we do. Your consistency, compassion, and commitment make a real difference in people’s lives every single day.

And beyond that — to all workers keeping things running right now…
tradies, retail staff, healthcare workers, transport workers, hospitality staff — everyone feeling the pressure but still turning up — thank you.

The world keeps moving because of people like you.

We see you. We appreciate you. And you deserve respect. 💛

What a wonderful event and a fantastic facility! 🌊☀️
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time playing, splashing (splash splash 💦 we are having a splash!), and of course enjoying a fabulous sausage sizzle.

The weather turned out perfectly, with the rain holding off, and this place truly has it all — an outdoor heated pool, an indoor pool for year-round swimming, and 2 splash zones with water buckets that were a huge hit! 🙌

Plenty of shaded areas, great toilets and change rooms, and such a welcoming space for the whole community.

We will absolutely love using this all year round — such a perfect day out! 💙

Saturday Social Adventures – Living Life Through What We Love!

Today our Saturday Social crew headed out to Pulse Performance — and for our car lovers it was an absolute dream come true! From powerful engines to incredible custom builds, there was plenty to explore and admire.

Experiences like this are more than just a fun outing. For many of our teenagers and young adults, navigating busy environments such as public transport, large venues, and crowds can feel overwhelming. By connecting activities to their special interests, we create opportunities where confidence grows naturally.

Today our participants practiced:
✨ Navigating public transport
✨ Managing busy environments and crowds
✨ Socialising with peers who share similar interests
✨ Asking questions and engaging with staff
✨ Building independence in the community
When young people feel comfortable and excited about the environment, learning and confidence follow. Watching our participants light up while talking about cars and sharing knowledge with each other was a reminder that the best learning happens when it connects with what people love.
At 3 Minds QLD, we believe supports should never feel like a program — they should feel like an adventure built around each person’s passions.
