Heidelberg Scout Group Heidelberg Scout Group The youth members are encouraged to work to the best of “their” ability, while always trying to strive for that little bit extra.

Scouting offers boys and girls the opportunity to meet other children of similar ages and broadens their circle of friends

It gives them the chance to work together in small groups in a “learn by doing” atmosphere. Heidelberg Scouts runs separate age appropriate sections for children starting from age 5 to age 15. Joeys (5-7 years): Tuesday 6:00 - 7:00pm
Cubs (8-10 years): Wednesday 6.30 - 8:00pm

We had a great start to term 2. During the Easter break, one of our Joey scouts wrote a story complete with illustrations, and as a result, earned himself a Special Interest Badge. If your Joey is interested in earning a Special Interest Badge this term, feel free to speak with your Joey leader for more information.

Our Joey’s had fun with their afternoon activities. Super proud of how each of them challenged themselves 🏹🎯

Summer nights are rolling in, and our Joey's enjoyed a scavenger hunt this week.
The scavenger list included everything from sticks as long as your arm to wildlife. Our Joey's worked super well in their patrols.
A big thank you to all our parent helpers 🙏🏼🌳

Followed by teamwork cleaning and choc muffin.
A big thank you to our Cub leader and parent helper for their guidance 🪢 (Don't worry, we know this is a Reef knot 😁)
