We had a great start to term 2. During the Easter break, one of our Joey scouts wrote a story complete with illustrations, and as a result, earned himself a Special Interest Badge. But our favourite part was listening to Joey Leader Gecko talk about when he got a fish hook in his thumb.

Tonight, one of our Joeys demonstrated his love for knots
Earning him a special interest badge.
Ask your leader what classifies as a special interest and what the joey, cub or scout needs to do to achieve their special interest badge.

Summer nights are rolling in, and our Joey's enjoyed a scavenger hunt this week.
The scavenger list included everything from sticks as long as your arm to wildlife. Our Joey's worked super well in their patrols.

The classic Clove Hitch knot inspired our Cubs to create a shelter tonight.
Followed by teamwork cleaning and choc muffin.
