More debuts on the horizon in umpiring, with Lloyd Browne to make his division one senior debut in the match between West Preston-Lakeside v Banyule this weekend!

Having umpired with us for a few years now and assimilating himself well into the social culture of the association, Lloyd's deserving opportunity has come as a result of consistent hard work and a willingness to continuously improve.

Tommy will be on the boundary this Saturday at Yulong Reserve when Bundoora take on Greensborough!

It was a double celebration on Saturday for Selena Henley who was not only a member of the inaugural all-womens panel for a senior men's game, but the match simultaneously also marked her debut game in the senior men's competition 🏉

History was made at Binnak Park yesterday afternoon, when the first all-female umpiring panel for a Northern Football Netball League senior men's game took to the field for the match between Watsonia v Ivanhoe 🏉

The joint initiative between the and the is proof that we create opportunities and drive absolute inclusion for women and girls across the competition.

Huge congratulations, ladies! You all worked really well together and absolutely smashed it! 👏🎉

The long weekend is here, featuring a standalone division 1 game, a full round for division 3 and Junior Interleague on Saturday and Monday!

The Watsonia vs Ivanhoe game on Saturday at Binnak Park will see history made when the very first all-female umpiring panel in DVFL/NFNL history takes to the field! If you’re free, get down to Binnak Park and support them!

A huge congratulations to alumni Andrew Talbot 'Talbo' on his impending 300 game milestone at Victorian Football League (VFL) level, which he will achieve this weekend 🏉

The first umpire to achieve the feat at state level, this is a huge testament to his skill, longevity and continued desire to lead from the front and be a great role model for umpires that are progressing through the ranks.

An early morning withdrawal from his game for good reason, as it was a beautiful miracle that is the gift of life!

Massive congratulations to our Vice President Luke Richardson (Richo) and his wife Jess on the birth of their third child - Maxwell James Grey - at 1:30pm on Saturday afternoon, weighing four kilograms. Both mother and son are well and in great spirits! 😍

We look forward to welcoming Maxwell into the club rooms soon, and who knows? Maybe we will a new umpire joining the ranks in 15 years time ;)
