It's official!
We are having a scaled-down Zucchini Festival this year, given the fires, floods and frenzies of 2026.
So.
Please join us for a Zucchini-themed afternoon tea on Friday 13th March, at the Heathcote Community House, from 2-4pm.

We will be raising funds (by feeding Ziggy the giant Zucchini) for our local services - CFA and SES, who have done a stellar job keeping us all safe this year (only two months in and it feels like twenty).

Because we love to judge things, bring along your zucchini-themed contributions to any of these categories:
Zucchini cake or muffins (bring your recipe to share)
Zucchini slice (bring your recipe to share)

Zucchini-inspired art or poetry

Giant zucchini (Dave is defending his title, BTW)
Most beautiful zucchini
Ugliest zucchini

Gold coin donation to enter, prize is a certificate and the applause of your community, friends and family. Entries 2pm - 2.15pm

Given they are the vital fluids which any self-respecting Community House runs on, Tea and Coffee will, of course, be available.
Afternoon tea will be a shared affair (hopefully from the contributions of the competitions!)

28/02/2026

At the Festival-ette afternoon tea, we will still have many of the competitions.
Bring along your zucchini-themed contributions to any of these categories:
Zucchini cake or muffins (bring your recipe to share)
Zucchini slice (bring your recipe to share)

Zucchini-inspired art or poetry

Giant zucchini
Most beautiful zucchini
Ugliest zucchini

Gold coin donation to enter, prize is a certificate and the applause of your community, friends and family.
Entries received 2pm - 2.15pm
Friday 13 March, 2-4pm
