And … that’s a wrap !😁
What a turnout for our last day of the season, it was exceptional.
Thanks once again to our patrons, supporters, donators and crew, you have made this a worthy mission to provide sustenance and fellowship for our community .
It has truly been an honour and privilege to be part of the soup kitchen, to cook, serve and enjoy your company.
Keep an eye out for our Christmas celebration announcement, which will be happening early December.

Tomorrow will be our last soup day for the winter season !
It’s been an incredible journey and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank our patrons, supporters and dedicated volunteers ❤️

Our final season soups are :
1. Cream of tomato soup (infused with onions, garlic and herbs)🪴

2. Ham, vegetables and noodle broth

Ham and cheese toasties

* dessert will be : PEACH COBBLER with a dollop of cream

We would love to see you all there !

Spectacular turnout today !
We had some new guests arrive to enjoy our offerings, which is one our favourite things ❤️ (I should get Julie Andrew’s to sing about that 🤣)
With only one more serving days to go, we hope you’ll all join us to celebrate our end of season for the soup kitchen .. We will keep you posted on our upcoming menu for our last day .. and remember..everyone is welcome and it’s FREE !!

2nd last SOUP DAY TOMORROW!
We finish up on THURSDAY 27th August for the winter season.
Tomorrows menu :

1. Creamy pumpkin soup, topped with cream and crispy bacon bits

2. Poached chicken in a vegetable and rice broth soup

3. Cheese toasties

4. DESSERT : creamy rice pudding, topped with apricot and a dollop of cream

Our hearts are full after today's Heathcote Soup Kitchen gathering! We had a fantastic turnout. There is nothing better on a chilly day than a warm room filled with happy voices and good friends. A huge, heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers and lovely guests for making today so special.

Today was no exception!

Your dedication keeps our community fed and supported.

There are now only 3 more service days left until the end of our season, but we will return for a special Christmas service in December. (Date to be advised)

Wow!
Around 40 people joined us today for our free Thursday lunch. 🥣

✨The kitchen was buzzing, the food was delicious, and the company was even better.
Huge thanks to our tireless kitchen crew and volunteers who prepped, served, and cleaned up with so much love today.
We also want to extend our gratitude to Bendigo Foodshare. Thank you for helping us keep Heathcote fed and connected!
I will let you know what’s on next weeks menu closer to the day 😊
