Do you have a struggling teen?
Here's a great program 👍.
The Youth Regiment may be something for you to look into.
Resilience is one of the most important tools our teens need to get through situational distress.
We know of similar camps like this around Australia,these can be found with a google search.
In an ideal world these camps should be completely funded by government,more should be built and advertised in every school in our country.

One of our suggestions to combat teen bullying is to send the bully and the victim on a camp together for a weekend where they are to work together to problem solve and learn about each other. (Not for all of course but in many cases this could stop the behaviour and the ripple effect would benefit the entire school).

No education or information posts today team.
Been a very hectic fortnight as allways.
We have been busy little bees.
Meetings in Mackay and Sarina with local programs/groups and individuals started the fortnight off.
Then we headed into Rockhampton to meet and listen at the National party mens health forum.
We spent a few days at a place called Mungindi,this is a town that's both in Qld and Nsw.
We started networking last year on an idea for Blue Tree Project .
This are is one of the cotton belts in Australia and the cotton is wrapped in different coloured plastics. Our idea was to see if the farmers and the cotton gins (processing plant for cotton) to incorporate a fund-raising and mens health awareness program for Blue tree,utilising the blue wraps as an opportunity 💙.
We networked with Cassidy from blue tree last year about this project but projects like this can take away valuable time from original obligations and objectives.
We had more productive talks and have opened this conversation and goals further this year.
We are now at wee waa and will be heading into Morree over the next few day's to network and speak to locals and services about mens situational distress and learn more from this community on what's working and where the gaps are for men and boys in this community.
The pressure of the Canberra event will come on at the start of September so our community networking and learning will slow down soon.
Australia is such an amazing place and when we get out and talk about male su***de reduction people are amazed when they hear the actual statistics and its a privilege to give people an opportunity to talk freely about why men take and contemplate taking their own lives.

Senator Matthew Canavan and Llew O'Brien MP understand we have an amazing grass roots mens health sector.
Working hard to understand how to build the sector stronger and get the funding where its needed.

It was great to hear from so many local groups working with men and boys at our forum last week with the National Party of Australia’s Special Envoy for Men and Boys, Llew O'Brien MP.

I have asked Llew, as special envoy, to develop a comprehensive plan to help men and boys before the next election.

Our plans will build on and support the great work that is already happening on the ground. Canberra cannot solve all the issues facing our young men, but we can support the people who can.

This program Paulo has been working on for over 10 years has many ways this very smart man has incorporated into the male su***de reduction effort to help our Australian women.
Women should be getting behind my amazing partner rather than attacking him for trying to help the men and boy's in their lives.

Did you know in Australia the kids help line receives one incoming call for help every 80 seconds.
Equating to over 330,000 cries for help every year.
The kids help line contacted emergency services/ safety authorities over 5000 times in 12 months.
Yes we have a male su***de emergency in our men and boys in our country. Yet these statistics show the ripple effect of this emergency having a serious impact on our children.
Implement a federal minister and office for our men and boys NOW!

Empathy,Empowerment and teaching resilience are some solution to youth bullying.
We stand by the new underdogs program ran by Fifi, Fev & Nick well done on leading the way and giving parents hope.
In Australia we have over 23,000 kids calling the support lines every month.
We need more funded programs like this for our grass root's providers to be involved in.

Labor special envoy to men and boys health and welfare shows his true colour's.
He would rather bring migrants in to fill skilled male positions such as boiler maker's,electricians,plumbers and many other positions predominantly filled by Aussie boys leaving school.
He literally said this publicly. (We posted the video yesterday but it was flagged,this is fact based he said this publicly).
These are the apprenticeships we need to encourage Australian men and boys to take up and our government should be making incentive for these young boys and men. (They have done this for the construction industry,why not all of them?)

Currently the first year pay rate for apprenticeships is less than the casual labour hire rate and that is exactly why we have young men not doing apprenticeships in these trades as much any more.
(In this video I say first year employee, I was trying to say first year apprentice).
Fix the problem with incentives for young Australian boys is the solution.
This minister just proved he thinks we should simply replace Australian men instead.
This is the line our labour special envoy for men and boys is taking to save Australian men amd boys. 🥵🥵🥵.
We must show them at the Victorian election and at Canberra parliament house international mens day Nov 19th 2026.
