Mt Toolebewong & District Landcare and Healesville Environment Watch members enjoyed a picnic last Friday evening in Bluegum Reserve, Badger Creek, to celebrate another proactive year caring for our environment. At dusk we surveyed hollow trees upstream and did a spotlight walk. We recorded 2 Common Brushtail Possums, 2 Sugar Gliders, 2 Boobook Owls, 1 Ghost Moth, several microbats and a White-striped Freetail Bat, Laughing Kookaburras, 1 Sambar Deer, Southern Brown Treefrogs and possibly a Striped Marsh Frog.
