📣 Heatherbrae Saturday Groups – Temporary Schedule Update

Our Saturday groups are an important part of what we do at Heatherbrae, and we are committed to continuing to provide a positive and valuable experience for everyone.

To help us maintain a great service over the coming months, we will be making some temporary changes to our Saturday schedule. During this time, our groups will run on the following dates:

Upcoming Saturday Sessions:

- Saturday 31 October
- Saturday 14 November
- Saturday 28 November
- Saturday 12 December

Session Times

- Dads Group: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
- Open Play (everyone welcome): 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Thank you for your understanding, patience and ongoing support while we make these temporary adjustments. We look forward to sharing further updates as we prepare for Term 1, 2027.

We look forward to seeing you and catching up at our upcoming Saturday sessions!

Connect and Nurture is now welcoming new families!

Connect and Nurture might be just what you’re looking for!

Our friendly, trained volunteers visit families in their homes, offering friendship, a listening ear and practical support along the way.

All volunteers hold current Working With Children Checks and National Police Checks, and receive training and ongoing support.

📢 Get involved in shaping Katoomba’s public spaces and receive a $100 gift voucher for your time.

We’re looking for people who live, work, study in or regularly visit Katoomba to join our upcoming walkshops and co-design workshops. Share your experience of moving through Katoomba town centre and the area around the train station, and help us understand what could make these spaces feel safer, more welcoming and accessible.

Night Walkshop: Tuesday 13 October, 6–8pm
Day Walkshop: Wednesday 21 October, 3–5pm
Co-design Workshop: Wednesday 21 October, 6–8pm
