Thank you to our artists, curator Dennis Golding, supporters, partners and everyone who visited the exhibition.

We’re open! 🎨

Warmth, energy and a strong sense of connection were the vibes for the opening of the Bridge Tenant Art Show 2026 at Mothership Studios today.

Curated by Dennis Golding, this free exhibition celebrates the stories, culture and creativity of Bridge Housing tenant artists. The exhibition runs from 1–6 June.

Jahmarley Dawson's cultural sharing during the Smoking Ceremony and Acknowledgement of Country set a welcoming tone for the joyful gathering. Tenant artist and performer Uncle Les Bateman captivated the room with the powerful sound of the yidaki, demonstrating his mastery of circular breathing while evoking the sounds of birds, animals and even the occasional truck heard on Country. Aunty Jenny Thomsen King and Curator Dennis Golding delighted guests as they shared reflections on their journey with an appreciative audience of tenant artists, supporters and art lovers.

Come along to support local artists, bring a friend, and experience art that speaks of home, community, culture and Country.

The Bridge Tenant Art Show 2026 runs until Saturday 6 June at Mothership Studios in Marrickville. This free exhibition shares the stories, culture and creativity of Bridge Housing tenant artists.

We’re All In this Reconciliation Week.

Earlier this year, our team came together at Yabun (pictured), wearing our shirts with pride and purpose and we continue to live Bridge’s values in action.

Reconciliation is not just a moment in time for us. It’s an ongoing commitment: to listen, to learn, and to walk alongside our Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander staff, tenants and wider community with respect and accountability.

This year marks an important step with our Reconciliation Action Plan as we work towards a Stretch RAP status - deepening our commitment to meaningful, lasting change.

We know there’s always more to do. But together, we’re showing up, leaning in, and staying committed.

We are All In.

Something special is happening in Marrickville this Reconciliation Week. 🖼️

The Bridge Tenant Art Show is taking over Mothership Studios gallery space from 1–6 June. Social housing residents have created stunning works in paint, clay, photography and even wearable art – and the whole show is curated by Aboriginal artist Dennis Golding.

Entry is free. Most artworks are for sale and every dollar goes to the artist.
Pop in, see some amazing art, then grab a coffee nearby. We love seeing our community come alive through events like this.
