Just a reminder that the Hay Rodeo is on this weekend!

The camp ground at the Western end of the showground will be closed for camping.

Eastern camp space will still be available for camping!

It’s going to be a night to remember !

Well here it is…….. this year we have online tickets available, all you need do is scan the QR code and follow the link. We are registered with “Iwannaticket” this year to see how it goes. Hopefully we get lots of support and this will be the way of the future.
******YES you can still buy tickets at the gates, but purchasing them online means you get through the gates a bit faster

At our December meeting we presented Barry Nisbet with a gift for his over 30 years with the Showground management committee.

A massive thank you for all your dedication and hard work as Ground Supervisor for the Hay Showground Management Committee. Your commitment, effort, and extra work behind the scenes have made a real difference, we truly appreciate everything you have done to keep things running smoothly. 💫

Barry retired from his position in October but we couldn’t keep a good man down! And in true Barry style he couldn’t stay away and has come back to help out after our caretaker retired this month. Thank you Barry for all that you do, we certainly appreciate ya!

We say farewell to our wonderful Showground caretaker, Kevin, and wished him well as he begins his next chapter. 🌟

A few of us from the user groups had the pleasure of taking him out for lunch to say thank you for everything he’s done for our community groups and showground events. His hard work, reliability, and good humour have made such a difference to everyone who uses the grounds, and he will be truly missed.

Thank you, Kevin for your dedication and care over the years — you are a great asset to the Showground msnagement committee. Wishing you all the very best for the future. ✨

Notice: Showgrounds Closed This Weekend 🚒🔥

The showground is currently a busy hub as preparations for the annual Rural Fire Service training exercise are underway.

To ensure safety and a successful training event, the grounds will be closed to camping and public activities this weekend.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this important period. Please plan accordingly and stay off the grounds until we reopen Monday 22nd September.

Show ground closed from Friday 19th - Sunday 21st September 2025.
