Congratulations to the 149 participants who ran and walked in the sunshine at Port Sorell Parkrun today. Positive vibes were felt 😊. A special shout out to Hannah for completing her 100th run today 👏 and to Dylan for completing his 50th run 🙌.
Of course this wonderful event would not occur without our fabulous volunteers… Ann Jak, Pete Buckley, Lochie Stafford, Kirsten Felstead, Annette Lakeland, Wendy King, Brady Butcher, Jess and Scarlett Wyld 👏.
Can all participants please check their pockets as tokens 49, 50, 112,113 are missing . Can you drop them back next week please?
Looking forward to seeing everyone run and walk next Saturday at Port Sorell.

A total of 121 participants joined us this morning for a cool but beautifully sunny start. We were supported by 10 fantastic volunteers who made it all possible.

We also welcomed visitors from Devonport, Launceston, and Hobart — great to have you with us.

A special shout‑out to Michael for quietly slipping in his 25‑volunteer milestone, and huge congratulations to Jane and Suz for reaching 250 and 400 runs respectively — incredible dedication.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend, and good luck to those taking part in the Launceston Running Festival tomorrow.

We had 99 runners, joggers and walkers join us this morning under overcast but pleasant conditions. A big congratulations to Jess, Andy and Emma on reaching their milestones today.
We also loved welcoming visitors from Hobart, Brisbane, Melbourne, Launceston — and even as far as China!
And of course, a massive thank you to our brilliant volunteer team. You make every week possible 😄

Whether you’re chasing a PB, strolling with friends, or soaking up our beautiful foreshore, we can’t wait to see you tomorrow morning. Bring your energy, your barcode, and your best smile.
