📬 Don’t throw them away donate your old stamps instead! 🦁

Used postage stamps can help make a real difference in the lives of others?

The Richmond Lions Club collects old and unwanted stamps, which are then converted into funds that support important Lions projects, including medical research, community programs, disaster relief, and assistance for people in need.

Getting involved is simple:
✂️ Carefully cut around your used stamps, leaving a small border around each one.
📮 Place them in an envelope.
🦁 Drop them off to the Richmond Lions Club.

What may seem like a small item can help create a big impact. Every stamp donated contributes to the work Lions undertake in the Hawkesbury, across Australia, and around the world.

♻️ Turn yesterday’s mail into tomorrow’s community support.

As Volunteer Week comes to an end, we just want to say how grateful we are for every person who gives their time to support our community.

If you’ve ever considered volunteering or would like to know more about what we do, send us a message or come along to one of our meetings.

We know many people want to help but can feel nervous about taking that first step and we want to change that.

Today we held our quarterly food drive at Woolworths Windsor, with many people from across the Hawkesbury community generously donating grocery items to support those in need. We thank you, this means so much to us and it will support many local families.

Lion President David Brown said, “Our community always comes together to help others, and it’s inspiring to see so many people giving their time and support to make a real difference.”

With 17 volunteers contributing many hours, your generosity and strong community spirit continue to make a meaningful difference.

🚨 WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY’S HELP TOMORROW 🥫❤️

The Richmond Lions Club will be holding a Community Food Drive this Saturday to support local families doing it tough and every single donation will make a real difference.

📍 Where: Windsor Market Place
📅 When: Saturday 23 May
⏰ Time: 8:30am – 3:00pm

We’re collecting non-perishable food and essential household items to help stock local community support services. Please check the image for suggested donation items.

Whether it’s a few cans, pasta, toiletries, or pantry staples, no donation is too small. Together, we can help make sure no local family goes without.

If you’re shopping in Windsor tomorrow, please consider adding an extra item or two to your trolley and dropping it off with our volunteers.
