Our dance sections truly have something for every dancer. With Special Restricted, Restricted and Open sections in all age groups except 6 and under, and all styles represented, every dancer has the opportunity to show their strengths and shine!

Last year, dancers travelled from as far as Port Macquarie to experience our welcoming atmosphere. Why don’t you join us in 2026?

Singers of all styles and ages, the Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod has a section (or two… or more!) for you!

We have a new, younger age group for our enthusiastic little ones, amplified sections for contemporary styles, and lots of prize money to be won.

The Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod committee are hard at work planning and organising this year's event. As the Eisteddfod is completely run by volunteers, we need to hold meetings around our other commitments, but we are super passionate about making it a great experience for everyone.

Here's a quick introduction to most of the committee with what times they arrived for the May meeting!

Don't forget to enter your sections for the Eisteddfod. Entries close June 1.

The Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod has a long history of providing performance opportunities to school and community groups. We have sections for Dance, Verse Speaking Choirs, Choral groups, and Instrumental groups. We are proud to be continuing that tradition and invite school groups from the Hawkesbury and beyond to participate.

Whether it’s an extra-curricular activity or embedded in the school curriculum, you can find a place to shine.
Every competitor will receive a ribbon. Prizes for School and Community days are sponsored by .

At the Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod, we are proud to offer a friendly and inviting atmosphere for dancers to shine.

With sections in all styles and special sections just for small dance schools, there is a place for everyone to shine. We invite dance schools from the Hawkesbury, the Greater Sydney area and beyond to participate in what is looking to be an exciting event.

This year, we are expecting the unexpected. Join us at Hawkesbury in July-September! Entries close 1st June.
