Congratulations to Daniel, who performed in this year’s Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod. We can’t wait to watch as you develop even further as a musician!

Nine-year-old Hills student Daniel Bang is making waves on the cello, having won top awards from Sydney to London and New York. He will continue competing locally next year and is scheduled to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2027. 🎻

Our Eisteddfod would not be possible without the support of our committee and volunteers. Our committee organise and run the Eisteddfod year after year with no remuneration, on top of regular work and family commitments. Our volunteers assist with the running of the Eisteddfod, helping us keep everything running smoothly.

Here are some photos of our committee members and volunteers with some of our adjudicators. We unfortunately didn't get photos of everyone, but everyone who contributed is equally appreciated.

Please give everyone a round of applause!

Thank you to the dance schools who provided photos from the day. Well done to all the competitors!

***SPEECH***

Our final day of Speech competition saw the 13 years, 14 years, 14 and under sections, 15 and over sections, and both Junior and Senior Championships.

Rachel Hennessy and Paul March split the day between them with adjudication duties, and were most impressed with the standard of entrants in these age groups.

Well done, all!
